(1) For those that don't know me, I've been working in northern Virginia with a client for training since September 10, 2011. I'm actually going home this upcoming Friday and I'm so very happy to be driving home again. I very much look forward to seeing my partner, my home, my two adorable kittens, and I look forward to walking on a dirt road again with the fall colors. I'm not a big city type person and two months of staying in a four wall motel and not being around your own surroundings can be very taxing. I'll keep you posted on how the job thing goes now that I'm going back home further south.
(2) No matter how glamorous people will say travel is...I don't think it is. Sure a week or two or maybe three is nice. An expense account is nice to cover your meals...but nothing beats sleeping in your own bed without the noisy neighbors and door slams and car alarms that is life in a motel room. I ought to know, almost two months of staying in a motel minus the visits to my sister's house.
(3) I saw the first snow up here in Virginia recently. I didn't pack any real cold weather gear because it was only supposed to be a trip of two weeks. Sort of turned into two months instead. Ugh...but the light at the end of the tunnel is coming up the end of this week.
I have more to share including a co-worker with Aspberger's syndrome...which makes for a very difficult working relationship and so much more...but alas, I'm sleepy and I'm ready to get some rest.
Have a good day!!
P.S. I'd like to personally welcome back Jeremy back to the blogging world. I know how he feels and it seems like sometimes you are the only one who blogs and nobody cares for you and they never post comments...sometimes you just want to share your world with other people...and maybe offer some insights to who you are as a person.
Keep on blogging Jeremy...I need ya man!!
Below is a picture of the snow from my sister's house in Virginia.

Snow looks nice but I think it's a wee bit early. Glad to hear that your going home, nothing beats that. Travel is something I try to avoid at all costs.
I had to travel once on business and I had to front everything out of my pocket and get reimbursed when I got back. Thankfully it was only about a week. The guy I went with was a riot and kept me in stiches laughing most of the time. It was like the trip I never wanted to end. Of course he was a work horse too. By the time I got to my room and was settled into bed it was 11pm and we had to be up at 6:30am every morning. God I hated that!
Thanks for the welcome back. I hope more people start leaving comments, but I'm not holding my breath. Look forward to your update, always good to hear from you.
